Education Can Harness Opportunity for Low Income Youth
ECHO Salon sponsors fundraiser for Take Stock In Children of Broward County
On Friday, April 8th, 2016 from 6-8pm, ECHO Salon will host their fundraiser Education Can Harness Opportunity for Low Income Youth, benefiting Take Stock In Children of Broward County.
For a $50 donation, guests will be treated to wine, cheese, and a chocolate fountain while listening to live music. They will also receive a coupon for a complimentary wash and blow dry. The salon will be selling raffle tickets for $20 as well.
ECHO Salon and Take Stock in Children have a common mission to change the lives of children in the community for the better. “TSIC Broward is excited to partner with ECHO Salon to increase the community’s awareness about the power of mentoring,” says Amanda Frey, executive director of Take Stock in Children of Broward. “We are both truly trying to change lives!”
ECHO Salon will donate 100% of the proceeds to TSIC Broward in order to provide scholarships and college preparation assistance for deserving low-income youth to escape the cycle of poverty through education. The salon has a commitment to assisting it’s patrons to be beautiful not only on the outside, but the inside as well.
