FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.– Fitlife Foods, the Southeast’s leading fresh, prepared meals retailer, will open their second South Florida location at Union Planters Plaza (2414 N. Federal Hwy) in Ft. Lauderdale on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016.
Following Super Bowl Sunday, Fitlife Foods is ready to help South Floridians stay healthy (or get back on track) with their health and fitness goals. After a successful opening in Plantation in January, Fitlife brings their performance-based lifestyle experience to even more people in Broward County.
"Fitlife Foods is for time-starved, success-minded and health-conscious people. We fit seamlessly into their active and busy lifestyles so they can do more and make the most of each day," says David Osterweil, founder and chief executive officer of Fitlife Foods. "From our delicious, made-from-scratch, fresh-prepared meals to our Project U program and wellness coaches, Fitlife provides the ideal solution for those who value their time and the creativity of healthy, delicious food."
On Monday, Feb. 8 from 10am-9pm, Fitlife Foods will be hosting their grand opening event which will include tastings with Chef Andrew Ruga (11am-1pm and 5pm-7pm), wellness sessions, store tours, and Fitlife prize pack giveaways. Each attendee will also receive a small, complimentary meal while supplies last.
Proceeds from the grand opening will benefit Take Stock in Children ~ Broward County, a non-profit organization that provides a unique opportunity for deserving low-income youth/students to escape the cycle of poverty through education.
"TSIC Broward is excited to partner with Fitlife Foods to increase the community's awareness of the benefits of eating healthy and the power of mentoring," says Amanda Frey, executive director of Take Stock in Children of Broward. "We are both truly trying to change lives!"
The Union Planters Plaza location will be the ninth Fitlife Foods retail store, as there are currently seven Fitlife Foods throughout the Tampa Bay region and one in Plantation.
Several more Fitlife locations are slated to open in South Florida over the next three years, along with locations in other parts of the state and the southeast region.
