Scholarships

Each Take Stock in Children (TSiC) Scholar is assigned a Florida Prepaid (FPP) tuition scholarship upon entering the program. The scholarship is held by Take Stock in Children until the successful completion of the program. Once graduated, the FPP scholarship will be activated and credits will be available for the scholar’s use.

The Take Stock in Children FPP Scholarship is bound by these rules and obligations. Failure to comply may result in a forfeiture of scholarship credits.

  • Scholar must begin using your scholarship credits within 1 year of high school graduation.
  • Scholar has five years to complete using scholarship credits.
  • Scholar must complete the FPP annual survey each year here: https://www.floridaprepaidcollegefoundation.com/survey/
  • Scholar must complete the Take Stock in Children Annual Student Survey each year.
  • Scholar must turn in a copy of unofficial transcript each year.

Each year, after completing the FPP annual survey, scholar will receive an updated scholarship card and must contact his or her Student Advocate to receive most current card.

The scholarship covers tuition only and does not include room, board, books, fees, travel, and other expenses. Scholar is required to apply for addition aid to help pay for costs not covered by the TSiC FPP scholarship.

Questions regarding  TSiC FPP scholarship should be directed to Amanda Frey.
