Mentor Is...

A volunteer can change a child’s life by becoming a mentor, a confidant, and a friend.  In just 30 to 60 minutes a week, a volunteer mentor can make a lasting impact in the life of a child.  Join Take Stock in Children to provide our scholars the best resource they can have—a mentor!

MENTORING TESTIMONIALS

“The best part of mentoring is watching my mentee’s face light up when she has great news to share with me."

- A valued mentor at Blanche Ely High School

“My mentor has and still constantly pushes me to work my best and do what I have to do. She continues to educate and advise me while simultaneously being a good friend. On my dark days, she has shed light and I am thankful for that!"
